Everything at Janam Tea is carefully curated to give you the best experience. Amy selects all of the teas and explains to you their origin, taste, aroma and even how they will look when poured. All of the food is created by Amy and while everything was exquisite, standouts for me were the chocolate pot du creme, the brown sugar cookie, and the delicious chicken curry. Garfunkel's is the perfect venue for this jewel box of a tea experience. I can't wait to have tea here again.
What a fantastic experience! Gorgeous teas and excellent food located in a beautiful speakeasy. Amy is extremely knowledgable but also very fun. She knows how to make tea accessible to any type of audience, and makes next to all of the food herself. I went with a party of four and we all had an amazing time. The space is beautifully decorated and really relaxed - it's fancy enough to make the experience special, but it's not stuffy, and everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend checking it out.
The lovely service, the exquisitely delicious tea and the yummy yummy treats made for an incredibly wonderful afternoon spent with Amy at Janam Tea. Her attention to details, masterful knowledge of single estate Indian teas and her warmth and bubbly personality create a very special environment. I brought my mom here and we whiled away the afternoon for hours. We were in heaven.
